The shopping center is fairly convenient, although the traffic system could use a little work. The traffic patterns direct everyone to the same areas as the crosswalks, but the people are polite enough to wait. The line to get out is also often long. The stores here are up kept well, but the restaurants are inconsistent in quality.
The stores here are pretty straightforward. Most are chains, as are the restaurants. Here is the one absolutely outstanding thing that everyone should know about this place: DON'T EVEN THINK OF COMING HERE ANYWHERE NEAR CHRISTMAS TIME. You will spend more time sitting in traffic, trying to get in and out of the parking lot, than you spend shopping (x8).
Love, live this shopping center. It has a lot of the stores I like in one place. There’s usually a lot of people but I never have a problem parking. All the stores are clean and organized.
Long Gate Shopping Center has fast food, restaurants, shopping, groceries, clothes, and books. Fascinatingly, it has two Starbucks - one inside Target and one inside Barnes and Nobles. There is plenty of parking, but on a busy day it can be a bit of a walk with a lot of bags. Nothing compared to a mall though.
Uno's is a great place for a good mean at a good price. All the usual dishes and deep dish pizza. Everything is served perfectly cooked and the portions are big. Nothing fancy, just a good value.
