Home depot is great but Google map sucks. I was half mile from another home depot and Google map takes me 6 miles to Elliot city store

The manager on duty said they had repeatedly asked for more hours to hire more cashiers, but management refuses. I called their 1-800 number to complain.
So to be clear - if you buy from one of their contractors withing the store you'll get full service. If you buy from Home Depot - you can wait on yourself, for all they care. Way to treat the customer!
Try to find a lumber cart takes a act of God .then when you get one and don't watch it someone takes it.most of the people working there act like the are doing you a face to help you .the Columbia store is the worst store in Howard county.both stores on rt. 40 are just as bad

Terrible customer service - They only had 2 registers open at the very far end of the store - everything in the middle of the store was self check. Basically if you wanted someone to ring you up you were required to walk all the way to the end of the store! When I suggested they close one of the two so they could open one in the middle, I was told by the manger that the contractors require two be open near their area.
They opened one register after I complained, but then closed it down before I left! TYPICAL HOME DEPOT SERVICE.
Great customer service. Even at the self checkout. The sales associate saw that I was finished and put my bags in the cart. This was very surprising because many times associates are hands off and stand in one spot. She anticipated problems and was proactive in keeping the line moving.
