An absolute delight! The proprietors truly understand hospitality and service. They love what they do, and it shows. If you don't love your stay here, you probably won't enjoy your stay anywhere.
I had a very pleasant stay. It is a family run business and the proprietor is both charming and efficient. The breakfast tasted nice and the portions were generous. And while the inn feels out of the way, it is only a few minutes away from Old Town Ellicott City, so there is plenty to do.
I took my wife here for her birthday and had a great time. The property is in great condition with all of the amenities that make for a quiet romantic stay. The care takers had great personalities and made the best french toast! Our room was a nice size, bed was comfortable and the bathroom (in room) had a jacuzzi. My wife was very pleased and it made her birthday that much more special. I recommend to anyone who is looking for an authentic b&b experience
This inn is about 5 minutes away from a shopping center and right next to a highway, but we felt like we were away from everything. All you can see looking out the windows are the tall trees surrounding it. We enjoyed the Ellicott room with it's wood burning fireplace, spacious bathroom, and comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and the innkeeper was friendly without being overbearing.
Amazing Stay! This place was very quaint and beautifully decorated for the Holidays. David (the owner) was very nice and welcoming. He also cooked a 5 star breakfast. We stayed in the Ellicott suite which had a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. It was a wonderful vacation.
