They bought stuff from me.. I was surprised at what they took and didn't take, but it's their business. I think some of the stuff I had, they didn't recognize the brands, because they took Walmart stuff and left higher end items. And worth noting: you get store credit for everything under 18 months and cash/check for bigger clothes. What I got for my stuff was fine - You can make 4x what they pay selling your stuff on eBay but consignment is way less hassle so thats the trade-off I guess. I tend to go once every few years when I'm overwhelmed with selling my stuff because I usually feel sick enough about what I receive for what I give that I don't even want to shop there again afterward! Just make sure you get there right when it opens at 10 because they only take so many boxes of donations a day!
Poor customer service. Signs are not clear. I wasted a half an hour going through giant bins of onesies only to be told that they all had to be the same type (long or short sleeve). I pointed out that the signs on the bins only said 10 for $10 and nothing about the type they had to be. The cashier said and this is a direct quote "well the manager was here yesterday and she said they had to be the same type." That's it. I walked out and will never return. The prices aren't that good anyway. You can do better at yardsales. Only reason I give it 2 stars is that the selection is good so if you are looking for something specific you may find it here.
I was very disappointed in the organization of this store. I have visited other locations and actually trusted the products. Today I was looking for a pack and play. I decided to set up one that was in a bag on the floor. Come to find out several pieces were missing. Also, other pieces of a different pack and play were placed in the bag to be sold as a whole set. If I had purchased this product "as is," my child would have been unsafe. They should probably take into consideration that people usually trust the products at once upon a child. I will never return to this location ever again.
So crammed full of stuff, you can't fit 2 people down an aisle. Don't bring a stroller... Or kids!! The racks are totally crowded and most of the stuff is totally worthless - pill-y and totally outdated, plus overpriced. I did find good shoes for $8.50-$10. WHEN THERE'S SALES, the prices are reasonable for used merchandise. The toys are overpriced - some things costed more there used than I've seen new, or maybe $1-2 off original price. The new toys up front were more expensive than Amazon. Just pay attention, or google things! Hit or miss on pricing of the high chairs, bikes, walkers, bouncers, etc. I just wish they'd clean it out! Get rid of the stuff that sit there taking up place, or up their standards on what they take!
I am new to the area and was very excited to come shop at this store. I was very disappointed with the overall experience. It is extremely cluttered with barley any room to get down aisles. Two people can not walk down the aisle next to each other. Products are on the floor of the clothing aisle. I couldn't pull out a bin of toys to look at becuae I was backing in to a high chair and tripping over other products! Totally forget about bringing a stroller in here! I did find a good selection of books I was pleased with and I would have purchased more but I couldn't even get to the main book shelf because a crib and other merchandise is in the way. I had to bend down on the floor and dig through a box to look at books. The customer service was not very good at all. A little girl was sitting on one of the toys and she fell and started crying and her mother picked her up and you would think the employees would ask if she is alright NOPE! They didn't even look her way! I was holding my son and needed assistance with carrying a walker to the front of the store being how crowded it is, the employees just watched me struggle and a kind customer took it and helped me. It just blows my mind. I have worked retail for years and the customer service in this store is a absolute joke! The website says buy all day everyday and the store opens at 10 my husband and I went at 11:30 and were told they aren't buying anymore for the day. The website also says "we buy all seasons, every day, all day" WRONG AGAIN I show up to sell clothes to be told they are only buying for Fall which would be understandable if the website had not mislead me. Every time I sell things here I am told something different. The first time I sold my sons newborn clothes I received a check. The second time they told my husband that it has to be store credit for newborn clothes. Then today I'm told if it is 12 months and under they only buy sets. These rules may have been in place for awhile but it would be nice if they were the same for every visit. The employees don't seem to be on the same page and it is very frustrating trying to do businesses here. Maybe they should have a big sale to get rid of some merchandise so they can have more room and try to organize better. I hope to see improvements because the store has some nice merchandise thanks to their customers who aren't treated well by employees and are presented with an unsatisfactory environment to shop in. The only reason i am giving one star is because I have to leave at least one star to post this and I do like some of the products but the over all experience at this store is unacceptable. The manager should be extremely disappointed and reevaluate the whole system at this store.
Every time I walk into this place I end up immediately walking out. It is so cluttered that I can’t even walk down the aisles. It’s incredibly unorganized and impossible to find anything. The staff are incredibly rude and blocked me in the middle of an aisle the last TWO times I was there and I had to climb over things to get out. The whole place is a nightmare.
